Through his experience as an independent producer and as the Executive in Charge of Film Production for Tim Allen's Boxing Cat Productions, he has gained invaluable insight into the development and writing process. His experience as the Executive Producer on My Name Is Jerry (starring Doug Jones, Don Stark and Catherine Hicks), Co-producer on Universal's For Richer Or Poorer (starring Tim Allen and Kirstie Alley) and Associate Producer on Disney’s Jungle 2 Jungle (starring Tim Allen and Martin Short) has also given him the knowledge of what works (and what doesn't work) in a screenplay once you get on the set.
Bruce has read, written coverage and development notes, reviewed coverage, heard pitches and read query letters for over 5,000 screenplays. In addition, he has taught story structure classes and has been a guest panelist at numerous writers conferences.
